The Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta has awarded a $5000 grant to the Society of the Friends of the Pincher Creek Library. The grant will be used to “assist with creating a separate but
accessible multi-purpose room in the library. The new soundproof room
will be used for video conferencing and small group meetings by a variety
of community organizations.” (Printed as written on the CFLSA website).
The library will also benefit from a $5,000.00 grant awarded to the
Chinook Arch Regional Library System to increase the core collection of
eBooks. Grants are provided through endowment funds established by
generous donors and support a broad range of community services. For
more information on the Foundation, visit their website at www.cflsa.ca.
